Detailed Steel Grit Description
Steel grit is made from broken cast steel shot after heat treatment and
then is heat - treated again.
Excellent material and proper heat treatment make it of high hardness, so it is of fast cutting speed, big density and compact microscopic structure,
less abrasion and flat cutting surface when cutting stone material.
We can make most suitable product schemes according to the customer's
actual situation because different stone processing enterprises have
different cutting equipment, cutting pressure ability to
cut granite, cutting speeds, etc.
We can supply customers with special steel sand on request, such as special
hardness, sizes and combinations of steel shot. It rapidly rounds off in use and is
particularly suited to removing sand from casting and scaling oxides
b) GL STEEL GRIT, although harder than GP STEEL GRIT, loses its sharp edges
during shot blasting and is particularly suited to de - scaling and
surface preparation applications
c) GH STEEL GRIT, having maximum hardness, always remains angular in its
operation mix.
Types available:
a) GP STEEL GRIT is angular when new. These abrasives are particularly effective in surface
treatment processes and produce a uniform, etched finish.
Specifications: G12, G16, G14, G18, G40, G25, G50, G80 and G120.
We are committed to doing our best for you, and welcome inquiries for Steel Grit.
