Detailed Vee - Ball Valve Description
The design V300 Vee - Ball flanged ball valve mates with 1 through 12 - inch
ANSI Class 300 raised - face flanges and DIN PN 25 and 40 flanges.
A splined drive shaft combines with a variety of power operated and
manual actuators to provide a reliable, high - performance throttling or
on - off operation for many different applications in the process
industries. To meet specific application requirements, a variety
of metal and soft ball seal materials is available.
A shearing action between the V - notch ball and the ball seal
promotes smooth, non - clogging operation. This
valve combines globe valve ruggedness with the efficiency of a rotary
valve. The unrestricted straight-
through flow design provides high capacity for gas, liquids, steam, and
fibrous slurries.
