Pharmacological actions:
Tonic, antiperiodic and astringent.
Appearance: Brownish - Yellow fine powder. Anti - rheumatism, antipyretic,
swelling & pain relieving. In convalescence
from acute diseases, in chronic diarrhoea and dysentery, in worms,
its tonic and astringent combination renders it very useful. It has been used in dyspepsia
connected with debility of the digestive organs.
