Macleaya cordata contains several alkaloids including sanguinarine,
protopine, chelerythrine, and allocryptopine.
It has been shown to be a reversible inhibitor of the enzymatic
hydrolysis of acetylthiocholine. Our product, macleaya
cordata extract, contains mainly sanguinarine and chelerythrine.
