c) Appearance: transparent blue crystal or powder
d) Air - slake in dry air
e) Soluble in water
f) Slightly soluble in methanol
g) Insoluble in anhydrous ethanol
h) Mainly used to produce ferric oxide pigments (iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow,
iron oxide black, etc.)
i) Can also be directly used as a flocculant for waste water
treatment, for producing ferric sulfate, for purification of water,
in ferrous catalysts, as an additive in compound fertilizers, and
for the production of FeSo4. H2O
