Barium Carbonate
a) Cas no.: 513 - 77 - 9
b) Uses: light product used in magnetic materials, brick, ceramics, tile,
water purifying, etc. granular product used in kinescope shell,
fluorescent light glass, etc.
Strontium carbonate
CAS number: 1633 - 05 - 2
a) Properties: White powder, micro dissolved in water contain CO2 and
ammonia salt liquor, dissolved in rare muriatic acid and rare nitric
acid and give out CO2, cannot dissolved in water. decompose to CO2
and oxidation strontium when heated to 900c.
b) Use: Electron component, to make rainbow glass, skyrocket material, and
other strontium salt preparation. It'll explode when
contacting oxidants.
Sodium hypophoshpite
Appearance and properties: White crystalline, hydroscopic property and
deliquescent; easy soluble in water and alcohol.
Packing:
a) Barium carbonate: in 25kg plastic woven bags
b) Strontium carbonate: Packed in net 25KGS plastic woven bags with PE liner. When heated to a temperature of over 200, it
would decompose rapidly and release hydrogen phosphide.
c) Sodium hypophosphate: in 25kg kraft paper bag net each.
